I went online looking for a fire screen, and when I found the one I wanted, I was directed not to Wayfair (the vendor) but to Wayfair at Google Express. When I placed the order, I was promised delivery in 6 days.

Today, the day before the fire screen was due to arrive, I got an email with the "good" news that the fire screen had shipped and would be here a WEEK from tomorrow. When I called Wayfair Customer Service, they had no idea that the delivery had been delayed.

My husband and I delayed a trip to wait for this package that will now arrive - if we're lucky - a week from tomorrow. Google Express needs to get its act together if it expects to compete with Amazon, which in my case has always delivered packages as promised.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Week delay in the delivery of a promised order.

It's usually wise to take anything with the name "Google" in it with a grain of salt. Yes, Amazon.com would be much better, even if the USPS messes up reliably---but, it is cheaper for Amazon to use.
